We are currently recruiting for Business Strategy Analysts to join the Strategy Insights team at Worldpay. These positions are based in London and aligned to the Worldpay University Program; a two-year program, suited to entry level joiners who aspire to develop a successful career with a leading payments company.

About The Team 

This role sits in the Strategy & Insight team, a core part of the Chief Strategy Office function of Worldpay. 

The Strategy and Insights team is responsible for producing a coherent strategy across the organization working with Lines of Business and Product Leaders to define the propositions for each of our segments and drive through new initiatives to generate organic growth for Worldpay, alongside with using strategy to inform key partnerships and M&A priorities. It is our job to be at the forefront of innovation in Fintech, ensuring Worldpay is creating the future of payments.

What You Will Be Doing 

As a Business Strategy Analyst, you will support on high-profile new initiatives that will provide transformational capabilities to Worldpay’s Merchants. This could be helping to launch a new product, defining a comprehensive proposition for one of our segments, or driving through a transformative partnership.

The Business Strategy Analyst will also support crafting the M&A strategy for Worldpay. This is a high- visibility role as you will be working on key strategic initiatives for Worldpay. Initially you will be supporting the team with some strategic initiatives work, but our expectation is that you will quickly take ownership of projects of your own and your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working flexibly across a couple of strategy projects, managing your time, and prioritising effectively
  • Learning the features of products and communicating these to both internal and external audiences 
  • Building productive internal/external working relationships
  • Providing project management support, managing a broad group of stakeholders 
  • Regularly updating internal stakeholders, including more senior members of the team on progress within your projects 
  • Creating materials for strategy cadence (Board updates, etc.)

What You Bring 

  • You have a bachelor’s degree 
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), listening and rapport building skills 
  • Proactive mindset, with a willingness to ask questions and put forward ideas
  • An aptitude to research and analyse key information and trends
  • Commercial focus, with an interest in driving revenue for the business
  • Highly organised with good time management skills and an ability to multi-task
  • A passion for learning about new products and innovation within Payments
