About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Assistant This job is responsible for operational accounting activities, including the review of customer financials or transactions, account reconciliation and maintenance, and preparation of operational or financial data for reporting.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform a variety of activities related to reconciling and balancing accounts
  • Research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues and exceptions
  • Resolve disputes for customers, clients and vendors, related to balancing situations
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Operational Accounting, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledgeable with Tax (US Tax) and have Voice skills (experienced in outbound and inbound).
  • Bookkeeping / accounting / cash balancing
  • Analyze Lease agreement and exemption certificates.
  • Calculations for Sales Tax.
  • Private Labels - external email financialservicing.net
  • Sales tax exempt, payments, and if no longer sales tax refund.
