.NET Software Engineer Intern

Data, Analytics, and Automation focus

As an intern within the Incubation Services team, you will join one of the most dynamic teams within the organization. Our team is comprised of leaders and critical thinkers. We are accountable, curious, flexible and results-minded all driving towards the same goal – to support Simens and our customers through their digital transformation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with developers and data scientists to develop, modify, and implement software applications
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of a replacement API to provide additional intelligence to our CRM tool
  • CI/CD around an existing ETL application
  • Research and develop innovative algorithms to confront business challenges facing marketing and sales organizations
  • Create documentation from independent research findings, including white papers
  • Participate in planning of future projects, such as LLM (ChatGPT) to provide insights around internal processes

Organization Requirements:

  • Studying for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Language/framework preferences: C# or C++, SQL (standard), and Microsoft .NET
  • Understanding of Python and Django is a benefit
  • Student must be proactive, capable of setting their own timelines, able to work independently, and disciplined
  • Ability and desire to learn new languages and framework
  • Sharp and tenacious trouble shooting skills
  • Unwaveringly passionate about solving technical challenges
  • Creative, fast learner
  • Independent thinker and self-motivated researcher
  • Adaptable to new tasks with little lead time
  • The hourly range for this position is $22.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
