This individual will provide assistance to Operations & Maintenance (O&M) functions in support of the Base Operations Support Contract. The position is responsible for supporting project or operations/maintenance planning and scheduling activities including preventative maintenance, work orders, start up and operations. Knowledgeable of planning and scheduling concepts and principles including effects on operational performance. Familiar with data sources and supports basic schedule development.
Summary
In addition to meeting the necessary qualifications the selected candidate must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment. This position will be based in Japan, primarily at a customer location aboard MCAS Iwakuni in support of a Base Operations & Support contract with the Department of Defense (DoD)/Navy- Marine Corps. The Maintenance Planner Scheduler (MPS) coordinates with our O&M management team in developing the scheduled maintenance activities and processes; pre-evaluates the need for replacement parts and places orders; and anticipates interruptions in plan and develops backup plans to minimize the impact on the facility’s overall functionality or production schedule.
Performance Location: The individual filling this position will be supporting Amentum on a contract for the US Department of Defense and working at the Marine Corps Air Station, Iwakuni, Japan.
Working Environment: Non-SOFA assignment.
