St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Market Intelligence Strategy Manager to join our Planning team.

Unit/Position Summary

The Strategic Planning team is responsible for setting and driving strategy as we continue to advance our mission of improving the health of people in the communities we serve. This role will support the development of system strategy by using data to identify, quantify, and evaluate strategy opportunities, and by facilitating senior leadership decision.

  • Drives identification, implementation and/or integration of analytic methods and assessments of tools necessary for organizational leaders to deploy strategy across the organization, including: consumer analytics, market assessment and development analytics, demand forecasting and plan coordination and deployment.
  • Develops and maintains current demand forecasting models, scenario models and performs ongoing market assessment and consumer strategy assessments.
  • Develops deep understanding of the Idaho healthcare landscape, and market trends, to gather, relate, and identify data with variables in models by applying personal judgment and mathematical tests.
  • Supports executive decision making by preparing written, nontechnical reports for management, indicating solution or range of possible alternatives in rank of desirability and probability of success.
  • Coordinates with Finance and Data & Analytics to understand availability of internal data, and potential applications in supporting strategy development
  • Coordinates and facilitates deployment of best practice strategic analytic approaches amongst divisional operational planning efforts.
  • Partners with operational, clinical, and strategic execution leadership to identify opportunities for strategic coordination system-wide. Ensures alignment and coordination of strategy and planning work with internal stakeholders.
  • Assesses business level strategies for identifying and resolving internal strategic conflicts within the organization, in collaboration with the Office of Strategic Results.
  • Evaluates options and makes recommendations on courses of action to affected partners and to senior leaders as appropriate, in collaboration with the Office of Strategic Results.
  • Supports the identification, development and execution of business development opportunities and partnerships that will help advance St. Luke's mission.
