Overview

  • This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP** 
  • Under supervision of the IT Solutions Architect, Applies understanding and knowledge of information systems products and services to provide technical software problem solution to customers. Creates, administers and maintains all Microsoft SharePoint resources. Responsible for design, customization, testing, upgrading and maintaining of SharePoint sites. Acting on change requests that includes, list, library, and workflow updates. Interface with Systems Support and other teams to assist in resolving SharePoint issues or to enhance user experience. Perform as the SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME). Provide professional support and customer service to all SharePoint users. Serves as a single point of contact for user inquiry and serves as a liaison within the organization for SharePoint Portal management. Develop presentations and provide end user training. Work with customers to design, develop and document solutions to address mission needs. Develop, configure and maintain site collections, document libraries, list and workflows. Propose enhancements that would make for a more efficient SharePoint environment. Manage permissions to SharePoint resources. Ensure compliance with all applicable U.S Army, DoD, policies and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • High School Diploma
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a U.S, Government Motor Vehicle Operator's License and host nation Driver's License, is required.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Certification
  • Meets requirements outlined in AR 25-2 for privileged access (IAT-I) to ISs
  • CompTIA Security+ and MSCA, MCP, or Server+ is required IAW DoD 8570.1-M.
  • ITIL and Agile/Scrum Certifications desirable.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain valid Secret Clearance
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Experience:
  • In addition to excellent oral and written communications skills, the ideal candidate should have the ability to demonstrate continuous effort at operations improvement, streamline work processes, work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
  • 3+ years’ experience supporting SharePoint sites, including permissions and data management.
  • Excellent knowledge of SharePoint (2010 - 2016, O365).
  • Experience with SharePoint Designer and building new WebParts
  • Excellent knowledge of workflow systems and SharePoint technologies.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent customer, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Flow, PowerApps, PowerShell and other tools to support SharePoint
  • DoD Cyber Awareness Training
  • Fort Gordon Cyber Security Fundamentals Training
  • Knowledge and awareness of various DOD network policies
  • Knowledgeable of Security+, Microsoft MCP, MCSA concepts.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Must be capable of working in an extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions (i.e., hot, dry, duty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months).
  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions as well.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
