What we need:

We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Senior Direct Mail Strategist to join our growing marketing team. As the Senior Direct Mail Strategist, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing direct mail campaigns across our Brady North America brands. This role requires a strategist with an exceptional background in marketing and a keen understanding of direct mail techniques. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to set campaign objectives, design impactful mail circulation plans, and leverage advanced segmentation techniques to maximize campaign effectiveness.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish campaign goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with revenue and profitability targets.
  • Design and execute direct mail campaigns aimed at acquiring, retaining, and reactivating customers within the Brady North America brands.
  • Develop customer and prospecting mail circulation plans, utilizing catalogs, brochures, direct mail letters, and more to drive sales and profit objectives.
  • Provide strategic guidance on customer contact pieces and product selection to optimize campaign performance.
  • Apply advanced modeling and segmentation techniques to refine customer and prospecting contact strategy and enhance targeting capabilities.
  • Select appropriate mailing lists and collaborate with vendors, printers, and internal support staff to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
  • Conduct detailed post-mailing segmentation analysis, working closely with internal analysts and external consultants to identify opportunities for improvement within each segment.
  • Partner with creative team counterparts and print production manager to oversee the end-to-end process of mailing piece creation, print, bindery and distribution.

What you'll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct response marketing, with a focus on direct mail strategies.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and profitability growth through successful direct marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired experience: 

  • Proficiency in segmentation analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering impactful results.
  • In-depth knowledge of CDPs and leveraging MarTech tools
  • Experience working in the workplace safety industry or related field is a plus.
