Enterprise Business Development Representative- IBM vendor

Salary: €45,000 basic annual salary plus an OTE of €7,000 per annum (Total: €52,000 OTE per annum)

Location: Hybrid, Leopardstown, Dublin 18 (1-2 days a week in-office per week)

About the Enterprise Business Development Representative:

The Enterprise Business Development Representative will be responsible for owning, actioning, and managing the progression of customer leads and interactions, in partnership with the Enterprise Sales team across the DACH region. This position will demand a high level of communication both verbal and written given the ownership for some of the world’s largest companies.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, research, generate, and develop new leads and opportunities as well as reactivate cold leads across the DACH region.
  • Research, prepare, and deliver detailed pre-sales Enterprise account briefings for AI, Hybrid Cloud, Business Transformation, and Cybersecurity consulting services. 
  • Support SLA attainment of client partners and field sales representatives associated with customer follow up and engagement.
  • Provide exceptional customer and sales team interaction through product knowledge expertise and excitement.
  • Maintain strong pipeline hygiene by tracking activities and updating records in a CRM.
  • Execute clear communication with the sales team and associated customer partners via phone (inbound and outbound), email, and chat.
  • Set appointments for sales teams according to specified qualification standards, to ensure appointment attendance.
  • Achieve individual targets and contribute to team and client’s overall KPIs.
  • Manage a healthy pipeline and lead funnel via program systems and tools.
  • Provide actionable insights to market trends, product feedback, customer insights, and learnings based on customer conversations and research.
  • Proactively look for problems that can be solved creatively and present recommended solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluent in German and English (Speak, read and write)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage and present to high-level stakeholders.
  • High level of business and sales acumen, including lines of business, industry verticals, and market segments.
  • Ability to use critical thinking skills to match product/services capabilities with areas of opportunity within large, multi-divisional, global enterprises.
  • Proven time management and organizational skills.
  • Previous sales experience (B2B enterprise sales preferred) in similar roles, including elements of cold calling, self-prospecting, objection handling and customer service skills.
  • Must have a determination to learn and be coachable, with a positive attitude and open to receiving feedback.
  • Ability to work within a group and be a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, Microsoft Office and general sales tools such as CRMs.
  • Ability to professionally communicate and conduct presentations and product demos through both phone and email.
