You will be part of a Global Engineering Center team and your task is to contribute to the global design work with positive team atmosphere and networking.

Your responsibilities

• The success candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team specialized in Power Transformer design covering different countries.
• Preparation of creating and revising standard Creo 3D Models that are used by multiple locations
• Responsible for development of the Power Transformer mechanical design tools (SpecTra-M) that are used in Creo.
• Responsible for the development of various applications in coordination with the global Hitachi Energy design platform in different areas of transformer Mechanical design scope (Tank, Cleats and Leads and Active Part.
• Coordinating design activities within a worldwide factories network.
• Participation in internal design concept reviews.
• Training users and helping troubleshoot design tool issues.

Your background

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ year’s of experience working in Mechanical design for Power Transformers manufacturing industry. Candidates with higher experience also to be considered.
• Knowledge on Creo CAD 3D modeling software is required
• Experience on Microsoft office and tools.
• Experience of creating reusable programmed standard 3D models.
• Experience with Program Development using CREO. This includes Pro-Program, Layout (Notebooks) and a very good understanding of Relations.
• Good communication skills in English Language in oral and written form.
• Ability to speak with and work together with the technical teams in different parts of the world.
• Demonstrated team building skills, would be a preference.
• Good verbal and written English is a must
• Very Organised and must have the ability to work on your own with minimum direction given.
• Attention to detail and high quality is needed
• A team player, open with information and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required.
• Quick learner with ability to master new areas
• Additional languages knowledge is considered an advantage.
