The Job in a Nutshell:

The Marketing Analyst will report to the Managing Director of Marketing and be primarily responsible for the generation and distribution of reports and analysis from our tracking and reporting systems to support the marketing team. This includes creating, building, and reporting new systems and Marketing Analyst will report to the Managing Director of Marketing and be primarily responsible for the generation and distribution of reports and analysis from our tracking and reporting systems to support the marketing team including the {N}power Loyalty Program. This includes creating, building, and reporting new systems and developing easy to use reports to support our teams and data needs. This role will provide support to management including preparing presentations, analysis and other projects requested by management with an easy-going attitude and excitement to take on new tasks.

Responsibilities

Main Ingredients:

1. Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development and automation of regular reports.

2. Create business value by providing thoughtful insight to the marketing team relating to customer trends and campaign performance.

3. Manage all barcode requests for the marketing team including proactive analysis

4. Collaborate with marketing team to determine measurable metrics around key campaigns.

5. Audit data, trends and processes as it relates to marketing campaigns and industry news to leverage insight for future campaigns.

6. Identify key opportunities for new initiatives, generate sales forecasts, and make appropriate recommendations

7. Conduct loyalty marketing program ({N}power), business, and trend analysis using predictive statistics, customer profiling, and data analysis

8. Manage reporting and analytics of {N}power Pricing promotions

9. Develop metrics and strategies to test and enhance performance of the {N}power loyalty program

10. Understand process and support execution of {N}power personalized digital circular

11. Prepare presentations for monthly {N}power loyalty program executive meeting

12. Ensure all numbers are accurate by performing individual quality control, checking with relevant data owners, and cross-referencing findings against secondary sources

13. Communicate complex topics for executive management in clear and concise manner identifying specific points from large data sets

14. Track analytics for video and internet viewership of Guest Presenter Program

15. Assist in the preparation of quarterly marketing dashboards

Qualifications

Recipe for Success:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, analytics or related field

2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in analytics and analyzing data

3. Self-driven with ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision in a deadlines-oriented environment

4. Advanced proficiency in excel and access and creating in-depth analyses from the ground up

5. Must have strong Excel reporting abilities: in Pivot Tables, Vlookup, and charting

6. Strong attention to detail

7. Accessing and requesting new reports utilizing vendor reporting tools a

8. Familiarity with marketing concepts in a retail environment including brand management, digital channels and communications

9. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

10. Ability to work independently and as a motivated self-starter who takes the initiative to accomplish tasks.

11. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills to interact with department team members, cross-functional teams and third parties.

12. Possesses excellent customer service skills to interact with internal and external customers as well as vendors and outside organizations.

13. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

14. Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.

15. Possesses the ability to multi-task and work easily with changing priorities.
