AI Investment Technical Senior Manager

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for day-to-day implementation of the AI Investment Technical Strategy and yearly priorities, including technical and business objectives. Support AI Investment portfolio senior leadership in validating technical priorities based on trends and demand signal, ensuring individual projects are scalable across clients and developed according to standards and best practices. Assist in defining the AI Investment portfolio technical priorities and will ensure individual projects are in alignment and meeting development milestones throughout the year. Review project submissions, participate in design reviews, ensure documentation standards are met, and identify points of integration and re-use across the portfolio for critical opportunities. Work closely with the investment operations lead and other internal stakeholders within the CTO to ensure financial and programmatic functions are in alignment with investment business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience as a data scientist, MLE, SW engineer or a technical product manager for data science and AI solutions
  • 7+ years of experience in management setting project priorities and leading development teams in successful project execution
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile and Kanban development life cycles
  • 3+ years of experience supporting public sector clients
  • Experience leading analytics, data science, or AI teams, developing team strategy, and ensuring key business metrics are met
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or as a member of an AI R&D organization within the government or private sector
  • Master's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $153,400.00 to $285,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
