How will you make an impact?

As a Sr Portfolio Strategy Manager, your role will be to identify product opportunities to better serve the unique needs of our customers in the China market.

What will you do?

  • Represent global Business units (BUs) in-region, and bridges the gap between regional teams and global BUs
  • Drives successful in-region product launches
  • Identifies and communicates market opportunities and builds business cases to support action
  • Owns the regional product development roadmap and strategy
  • Collaborates and influence to secure resources for projects
  • Able to translate customer insights and market intelligence into strategic initiatives
  • Develop and improve practices for effectively implementing an integrated multi-year BU portfolio roadmap
  • Identifies gaps and develops innovative approaches to support long-term business goals & impact across the organization.
  • Drives continuous improvement and best practices for the broader team

How will you get here?

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences and/or business subject area. Graduate degree or MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years of upstream marketing, product management, portfolio management, or equivalent experience in the life science industry
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects
  • Ability to influence across a sophisticated matrix organization
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally as needed (estimated 10-20% per annum)
  • Will require evening meetings as needed to collaborate with our colleagues in China

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $143,000 - $214,475.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
