Today, the AWS Partner Intelligence (PI) division, a pivotal part of AWS Partner Organization (APO) supports tens of thousands of consulting and technology partners who in turn serve AWS customers across virtually every industry, segment, and geography. As such we are constantly evolving our systems to support this vast network and are looking for a highly skilled & motivated Senior Data Governance Technical Program Manager (TPM) to define and lead cross-organization security initiatives and solve security challenges within APO at scale. This is an exciting and highly visible role – you will directly influence the security postures and data management policies for our APO products and services. You will regularly interact with world-class engineers and senior leadership.
If you enjoy enabling others while keeping them safe, discovering and addressing security issues, and running programs to enable data builders and stakeholders alike, this role will provide you with a challenging opportunity. You will lead information security, risk, compliance, technology and business process assessments, collaborate with AWS Security teams, APO business leadership and technical staff, AWS legal, audit and compliance teams identifying security gaps, vulnerabilities, and conducting security reviews across all elements of the AWS Partner Organization. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in information security and exhibit a strong blend of soft skills for effective collaboration with business and engineering stakeholders, along with deep technical expertise to excel in this critical role.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
