Position Summary

The Manager, Pharmacy Operations Business Insights, in partnership with the Senior Manager, will be responsible for building, maintaining, and analyzing complex datasets, Tableau dashboards and scorecards to track both the financial and non-financial impact of high-value project(s) which aim to optimize pharmacy workflow across CVS Health’s retail pharmacy locations while also driving improved financial outcomes. You will use subject matter expertise of Pharmacy KPIs and analytics to inform product strategy and be a critical part of building out the strategic direction of the team.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to multiple teams across the Pharmacy Process Innovation team by performing complex data queries using SQL (Teradata), building and maintaining Tableau dashboards, all while exercising a strong understanding of and ability to track financial performance metrics. The ability to track previous and current performance while also accurately forecasting future performance in a dynamic environment is essential.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, including but not limited to opportunities to drive improved financial performance through increased prescription sales through identified operational improvement strategies.
  • Engage cross functional teams to drive results, solve issues, and align on analytical findings.
  • Prepare and occasionally present analytical findings to audiences of varying levels of experience (executive leaders, mid-level managers, and field/store colleagues) to the end of gaining strategic and operational/tactical alignment of best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years required experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, Project Manager, Consultant, IT, or related field
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries using Teradata/other software to access historical and current data
  • Ability to create, publish, and maintain several Tableau dashboards
  • Proficiently manipulate and track data and generate reports using Microsoft Excel. Should be comfortable using (V-Lookup, Index-Match, Pivot, PowerPivot, etc.)
  • Intermediate to Advanced – level skillset using products in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Possesses both analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; able to identify solution types that are both evolutionary and highly disruptive
  • Powerful Communication: Effectively and succinctly communicate complex data findings both verbally and in writing to diverse audiences with varying levels of understanding of the business
  • Ability to drive efficient and effective planning processes by implementing and upholding a strong project management discipline across boundaries
  • Occasional travel as necessary for field and corporate interfacing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or other Advanced Degree

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$63,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
