Come build the future of payments with us! Amazon Pay is a high growth startup providing Amazon customers the trust, convenience and value they expect from Amazon no matter where they are paying. We are part of the Amazon Payments team, powering fintech on and off Amazon. This role will focus on Data Science, and Analytics related to Amazon Pay Wallet Differentiation, requiring solid ML model development skills, strong business acumen and a deep analytical background to provide actionable data-driven insights and decision support to product leadership. As a member of this team, you will harness your strong analytical skill to create data structures, build machine learning models with natural language processing, build dashboards and visualization to support business strategy and enable our team to identify and measure new opportunities. This role will be responsible for surfacing top and trending customer pain points within relevant business segments (e.g. by product, device, merchant segment, channel) based on post-order feedback and customer service calls. This role will also build the required datasets for new pilot programs and analyze performance for VP-level audience.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, understanding and leveraging existing Amazon capability where available, and has experience delivering insights and impact to business teams. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $247,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
