WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON ANY GIVEN DAY

  • Lead the management of the client relationship for the paid media (search/social/display) business whilst supporting the client servicing team to deliver cross channel excellence
  • Management of client budgets, through planning, optimisation, and reconciliation.
  • Develop strong relationships with the agency trading desk to deliver the best in class paid campaigns
  • Ensuring planning processes are followed to produce best in class media plans. Take a strategic approach to ensure that the client/ KPI’s are reached or exceeded.
  • Manage and motivate more junior members of the team, sharing planning knowledge and developing their skills to ensure a high standard of output.
  • Work closely with the comms planning team, being proactive to see how digital can be increased and collaborate with other digital specialist teams and the wider publisher team.
  • Ensure proactivity and creativity within the channels to ensure the agency remains on the front lines of innovation

Requirements

THE SKILLS WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience managing a multi-channel, multi-market account with case studies of success with both direct response and brand campaigns.
  • Be able to demonstrate a passion for knowledge of the digital marketplace and a curiosity for and understanding new technologies, emerging devices and other digital disciplines.
  • Experience of managing and developing junior members of a team
  • A good understanding of the strengths/weaknesses and core metrics of all media channels
  • A strong background in paid media
  • Previous experience of using industry media reporting tools and systems
  • To be able to produce informative and inspiring client materials, such as competitive analysis, status reports and media recommendations
  • To understand the importance of attention to detail in all outputs and ensure that account processes are adhered to.
  • A proactive mindset to grow the client business
