MBA Leadership Development Program - Summer Associate Internship

Do you possess the business acumen, technical training and personality strengths needed to significantly influence the success of a Fortune 500 company?  If so, Kiewit Corporation invites you to apply for its MBA Leadership Development Program (LDP).  The goal of Kiewit’s MBA Leadership Development Program is to accelerate extraordinary individuals into key leadership positions in which they will significantly influence Kiewit’s financial success as well as its continued market and geographic expansion. 

Position Description

The MBA Leadership Development Program includes the following components:
•    Communication with current, full-time MBA Leadership Development Associates to gain further insight & details on the program as a career opportunity
•    Rotational assignments in the following areas:
    o    Business Development
    o    Pre-Construction Planning and Estimating 
    o    Marketing and Proposals 
    o    Construction Operations
    o    Business Line Management
•    Manage and direct project teams through effective communication and coordination 
•    Profit and loss responsibility at the project level, plus lead efforts to capture new project revenue
•    Accelerated, progressively phased work assignments and decision making responsibilities
•    Cross-functional experiential learning, structured career development and formal training
•    Active participation in corporation-wide improvement projects
•    Tailored Leadership Development Plan designed specifically to your needs with the support of a senior level mentor and an executive management coach

Qualifications
•    Currently pursuing Masters of Business Administration degree from a traditional, full-time MBA program
•    Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Construction Management
•    5+ years professional work experience in construction, engineering, or manufacturing 
•    Ability to relocate and travel as the job demands
•    Complete commitment to company and personal development beyond 40 hours/week
•    Self-starter with  a track record of growth and achieving results
•    Effective and positive communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Natural and influential leadership skills, intelligent and ethical decision maker, respectful and inquisitive learner, and/or success-driven entrepreneurs
