Description

Key Responsibilities &  Accountabilities :

 

·         To execute the business plans for the acquired accounts (Brokers) of Cigna TTK for the region across their verticals

·         To identify and develop business opportunities across the partner verticals for the distribution of Health Insurance.

·         To work along with the HO Account Management/Execution team to optimize on the distribution opportunities for Health Insurance across the partner ecosystem.

·          To lead and manage the Broker Relationship Manager Execution team for the region to ensure that they have the right skills and are motivated to perform well in their roles. This includes coaching as well as transferring specific sales skills and techniques on-the-job,

 leading to successful execution and results. 

 

·         Create the excitement for Health Insurance within the partner organization through various engagement and R&R initiatives

 

To identify the execution gaps in selling Health Insurance through the partner teams and work with the Cigna sales hierarchy to ensure filling of the gaps for a more efficient & effective sales execution

 

Qualifications

Knowledge / Experience / Skills :
 

-       Preferably MBA with at least 7-10 years of experience in sales. At least 5+ years handling a sales team, and preferable 3 years in the insurance industry( Life, general or health)

 

-       Should find excitement in building distribution from scratch. Should exhibit leadership qualities in managing & motivating sales teams. Needs to be able to balance the requirements of business hygiene and compliance with top line pressure

-       Significant understanding of the Broking and Financial Services businesses

 

-       Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business profit drivers. Understanding where product would sit within the complex operations of a client and how to position the same.

 

-       Excellent communication skills, fluent in both written and verbal communication.

 

-       Should have excellent sales acumen to understand the drivers across the partner organisations and pulling appropriate levers to maximize the distribution opportunity
