The Role and What You’ll Do:

This position is responsible for driving the company’s corporate strategy, business development, organic growth and M&A initiatives. The SVP, Corporate Strategy & Development performs financial, market and operational analysis regarding key company projects and initiatives and drives the strategic planning process of high-level projects across the organization. The individual is a business and functional expert with experience managing multiple cross-departmental projects and outside relationships with partners and vendors. Creative analysis, independent thought, a proactive approach to adding value to the organization and people leadership and management are key elements of the position. This position works daily with members of the Strategy team and senior professionals within the organization, both domestically and internationally.

  • Lead the on-going definition and evolution of our corporate long-term strategy in partnership with the EVP, Strategy & Corporate Finance identifying strategic themes and key drivers of the long-term growth of the organization.
  • Explore, evaluate, and recommend strategies and tactics to support TKO’s corporate priorities across its various brands and business verticals (Media & Content, Live Events, Sponsorship, Consumer Products, International, etc.)
  • Support all aspects of revenue generation working with all business verticals including Media & Content, Live Events, Sponsorship and Consumer Products identifying organic growth opportunities, leading and supporting deal negotiations, and preparing relevant internal and external presentation materials.
  • Lead all M&A execution including identifying opportunities, financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and creation and implementation of post-transaction integration plans.
  • Be a proactive and critical thought partner for executive and department leaders to identify and develop new business opportunities, making recommendations and developing business plans for organic opportunities.
  • Identify, filter, develop and evaluate growth opportunities, areas for development and operational efficiencies.
  • Drive strategic planning process of key companywide projects, including cross-departmental and cross-brand initiatives.
  • Design, create and prepare business and brand presentation materials for executive management, Board meetings, investor update materials, potential partners and vendors.
  • Lead the preparation of financial analysis related to the company’s performance.
  • Develop relationship with strategic partners, vendors and industry participants.
  • Performs other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

You Have These:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience required. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, 12+ years of experience in Corporate Development or Strategy roles.
  • Strong Finance and Accounting knowledge.
  • Strategy consulting background beneficial.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and critical thinker.
  • Effective communicator with solid team building skills who succeeds by working within and across functional groups.
  • Highly numerate with excellent Microsoft Office and financial modeling skills.
  • Creative mindset with an ability to identify ways to leverage existing assets for new business.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing and challenging situations.
  • Strong people leadership experience.
