We are currently looking for a Sales Solution Consultant Senior (m/w/d). Ideally based in London but we are open to someone in Belgium or Germany.

FIS Private Markets brings solutions to the market private equity software solution that automates front-, middle- and back-office processes for general partners, limited partners, fund administrators, family offices and fund of funds. Covering the entire investment life cycle, our solutions offer accounting, relationship management, partnership accounting functionality amongst other areas of expertise across the spectrum of digital data management within the Private Markets industry.

What you will be doing

As a senior member of the business solutions group, you will be supporting the Private Equity Sales team as the subject matter expert to support the selling of the FIS’ Private Capital Suite, providing both functional and domain expertise. 

You will work on complex software and service sales; working within a team to understand a client's business and requirements; deliver product demonstrations, workshops, deliver industry expertise & strategy shaping solutions incorporating product, professional, and managed services.

You must demonstrate the ability to learn the FIS Private Markets ecosystem solutions and to be able to deliver the solutions in strategies that solves a problem for the market, to deliver the solutions to potential customers in a compelling and value adding way.

This position will involve regular travel to customer locations as well as to FIS office locations for internal strategy and planning. You will report to the European Business Solution Group manager.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving customer growth and top line revenue supporting sales opportunities as the SME and solution expert
  • Being the internal SME offering guidance and knowledge predominantly alongside the sales team but to the product and business strategy teams as well.
  • Providing sales consultancy during a customer engagement, demonstrating business and domain knowledge building credibility and confidence in the prospect that the business issues & challenges are understood, and that value can be delivered through the FIS Private Market solution ecosystem.
  • Identifying solutions within the FIS product suite to address the issues presented or otherwise identified. These will typically be based upon one or more core FIS products, services or specific developments, which are generally defined at a high, initial level by the solutions group
  • A traditional pre-sales role: helping to analyse client requirements and construct appropriate responses, demonstrating software and responding to RFI/RFP documents
  • Work with Product Management and provide input into future direction, strategy, and roadmap of solution(s)
  • Work with the Sales team on defining and executing Sales campaigns.

What you bring:

  • Relevant experience within Consulting and/or working on software application preferably in the Private Market industry
  • Good understanding of Financial Markets & Private Equity Business Processes (front/middle/back office operations)
  • Financial Accounting knowledge, preferably with financial services firms more specifically with alternative assets (hedge, private equity, real estate).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on presenting and selling
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and drive
  • Desire to help shape business strategy and growth
  • The flexibility to travel

  • CFA, CAIA or MBA qualification
