The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing the entire software development life cycle of a Salesforce solution from presales through implementation. Priorities will include hands-on experience in the salesforce eco-system designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in Salesforce platform, along with your strong technical and architectural skills, will be instrumental in driving successful implementations and providing guidance to our development teams.

Responsibilities: 

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, demonstrate and design scalable and efficient solutions on the Salesforce platform. Translate business requirements into technical designs and ensure alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the entire project lifecycle. Define technical architecture, establish development standards, and enforce coding best practices. Review code and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines and standards.
  • Salesforce Implementation: Lead the implementation of Salesforce solutions, including configuration, customization, integration, and data migration. Design and develop complex components, workflows, and customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • System Integration: Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability. Identify integration patterns and select appropriate integration technologies and tools.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct performance analysis and optimization of Salesforce solutions, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and performance issues. Recommend and implement enhancements to improve system performance and scalability.
  • Solution Governance: Establish and maintain solution governance processes, including design reviews, code reviews, and release management. Ensure compliance with security, data privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, and architectural diagrams. Provide documentation and knowledge transfer to stakeholders and development teams.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, enhancements, and industry trends. Share knowledge and best practices with the team and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Salesforce practice.
  • Business Development: Support business development efforts through scoping, configuring, and demonstrating CRM solution and other digital transformation related technologies. Assist in R&D capacity to understand the needs of the market and design solutions to meet those needs; work with the consultants to build identified solutions to take to market. Support marketing efforts through events, webinars, whitepapers, and blogging. Assist in the development of work plans, proposals, and engagement letters in preparation of client projects.

Qualifications: 

  • 8+ years experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect, with a proven track record of successful Salesforce implementations.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application Architect, or System Architect.
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce platform, including Salesforce Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, and declarative development.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
  • Experience with system integration, API integration, and middleware technologies.
  • Proficient in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex business requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing Salesforce in Financial Services, Construction, Nonprofit, or Manufacturing industries
  • Professional Services delivery experience
  • Experience with advanced Microsoft Excel and Visio concepts
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science (preferred), Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, Economics, or other related field of study

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate’s unique experiences and skill sets. The estimated pay range for this position is: $100,000 to $170,000. Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.

Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
