Description: Ithaca College invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-eligible one-year faculty position in Finance. The successful candidate will join the departmental faculty in teaching an assortment of courses in Finance (e.g., Business Finance, Cases in Financial Management, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning and Forecasting, and courses in Real-Time Fund Management) and take on other responsibilities as assigned. This will be a one year appointment beginning August 16, 2016.

Qualifications: Candidates must preferably have an earned a Ph.D. degree in Finance; ABDs near completion of their degrees would also be considered. A promising potential or record of scholarly publications in the field of Finance, particularly Investments and International Finance, is expected. Teaching excellence and teaching experience in some of the above areas, supported by positive student evaluations, is highly desirable. We prefer candidates who have a record of successful college teaching and who share our commitment to professional preparation within the context of an interdisciplinary and immersive liberal arts education. Professional certification such as CFA is desirable.
