We are currently seeking to fill an internship position under the WFP Research Monitoring and Evaluation Unit. The position will be based at our Country office Freetown. The Internship will be for a period of 8months.
WFP Community Feedback Mechanism:
WFP Sierra Leone operates a Community Feedback Mechanism (CFM) which is accessible via toll-free hotlines. WFP’s complaint and feedback mechanism (CFM) operates at the local level, with a 360-degree monitoring, reporting and feedback process in place. The CFM enables community members and beneficiaries to directly engage with dedicated WFP staff to report instances of fraud, malpractice, or abuse occurring during project implementation. Additionally, beneficiaries can offer suggestions on how to improve the programme. Under the direct operational supervision of the Head of Research, Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) the intern will be responsible for the following duties
The selected candidate will be assisting the WFP Research Monitoring and Evaluation unit with the following key duties:

WFP has a zero-tolerance approach to conduct such as fraud, sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority and discrimination. All selected candidates will be expected to adhere to WFP’s standards of conduct and will therefore undergo rigorous background verification internally or through third parties. Selected candidates will also be required to provide additional information as part of the verification exercise. Misrepresentation of information provided during the recruitment process may lead to disqualification or termination of employment
