Role Impact ????
As Nexford’s Jr. Sales Operations Executive, you would get an opportunity to work very closely with the Sales Team and assist with all things that are sales-focused and sales-centric. You would indirectly play a vital role in aiding the sales team to hit their sales targets.
A Day in the Life of a Jr. Sales Operations Executive☀️
No two days are the same in this role. Your schedule will have a certain structure to it, but your work being very sales-driven, could involve a lot of adapting based on the priorities and targets for a specific day.
☀️ Morning: Your day might start with making sure you attend to any high priority requests raised via emails and messages that may need attention. You would then need to start working on tasks that ensure the sales team has all that is needed to get started with calling - This may include keeping their calling lists ready, ensuring the reports and data points that they need are all available and up to date, etc. This may require you to work on various sales enablement tools like the CRM, the calling platform, etc.
???? Midday: Publish daily reports and attend to other tasks such as lead assignments, calling list assignments etc. Publish reports that allow the sales team to be abreast with their productivity and sales stats, provide recommendations to the sales team to meet their targets, report on any CRM tagging inconsistencies, etc. In summary, work on tasks that would enable the sales team to operate at their optimum capacity.
????️ Afternoon: You would also be required to attend weekly calls with your manager to help establish your weekly priorities. Working on certain ad hoc tasks that may involve, setting up the sales tools for newly onboarded team members, working on automations to help improve efficiency of the work being done, assess impact of changes introduced to the sales process etc.
???? Evening: Conclude your day by publishing any end of day reports and updating any end of day automations, reports or data to ensure smooth functioning of sales ops for the remainder of the day.
