The individual will report to the Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and be part of the team to drive the community development objective across CapitaLand Group. You will work with the team and various business units/departments to develop, plan and execute the CSR roadmap as well as champion the causes internally and externally. You will also support the day-to-day operations of CHF and ensure compliance with charity regulations in Singapore.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and execution of strategic CSR/CHF marketing communications activities
  • Develop and manage the CSR/CHF branding and marketing communications strategy and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to implement the plan as well as measure and report on communications outcomes
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to internal teams across geographies to ensure alignment of CSR/CHF related communications objectives
  • Develop CSR/CHF content for internal and external communications and manage related marketing communications materials such as videos, CHF website, intranet, promotional literature, EDMs, presentation slides and gifts as required
  • Prepare and manage the content related to CSR/CHF contributions to the sustainability reports of listed entities across the Group including the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, quarterly business updates and others
  • Manage and follow up on sponsorship requests as well as CSR/CHF related filming and interview requests of management, volunteers and beneficiaries
  • Manage and implement the projects funded by CHF as assigned and work with community partners to drive social impact
  • Support the day-to-day operations of CHF including grantmaking, financial management, reporting and compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Recognised degree related to communications, business, marketing, management, or other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 7 years work experience, preferably in related areas such as CSR, public relations, marketing and communications. Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing Charities, IPCs (Institutions of Public Character), best practices for CSR will also be an advantage
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical, problem solving, project management and public communication skills
  • Good people skills with the ability to engage with all levels of staff across diverse cultures and backgrounds
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous with high degree of drive and professionalism and ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and often, under tight time constraints
  • Highly creative with a flair for generating ideas with strong execution capabilities
  • Ability to work independently in a lean team, with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good command of English is required. Knowledge of a second language especially Chinese will be advantageous when working with overseas markets
