Controller's Office / Student Business Services
This is a highly responsible professional position in the Office of Student Business Services Accounting Section. This position is responsible for the daily journal generation process between Campus Solutions and Financials. This position performs daily reconciliations of transactions interfaced into Campus Solutions.
This position is responsible for recording all bank detail activity reported on university bank accounts.
This position serves as the University liaison with department and bank officials.
This position is responsible for departmental training and providing departmental support in completing appropriate forms to record cash and credit card revenues.
This position is responsible for reconciling and maintaining all assigned departmental ledgers.
Bachelor's degree and four years of full-time experience related to the duties of this job; or a high school diploma/equivalent and eight years of full-time experience related to the duties of this job. (Note: post-high school education and/or said experience may substitute at the comparable rate).
Experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Knowledge of accounting systems and practices.
Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
