Lead Content Strategist (Sr. Manager, Web Content Strategy)

We’re looking for a Lead Content Strategist to join the agency’s Creative Experience and Technology practice. Specifically, this role is accountable for strategy, development, and execution of content strategy and content design across multiple platforms for clients. The Lead Content Strategist will collaborate with our user experience, search, development, editorial, and solutions teams to provide strategic counsel and data-driven content insights throughout the full project lifecycle. Sound like you? About You

You are client-facing with experience indirectly or directly leading projects from pitch or ideation through flawless execution. One of the most important aspects of this position is the ability to be the conductor of the team and be a proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative practitioner.

You must be a self-starter with a passion for digital and collaborating across creative, user experience, account, technology and digital production. You should enjoy working in a team environment and be detail oriented with respect to tasks and communication, across multiple projects and accounts.

You are part wordsmith extraordinaire, part analytic thinker with an insatiable desire for solving our clients’ complex business challenges. You have a strong background in User-Centered Design and Editorial working with cross-functional teams. You should be comfortable being accountable for all aspects of content strategy deliverables on large-scale account(s) ranging from content audits and strategic frameworks—and everything in between.

Job Responsibilities

You know you’re ready to become a Lead Content Strategist at Resolute if you can effortlessly:

  • Collaborate with UX, search, and business stakeholders to develop a sound content strategy for website redesigns, brand campaign landing pages, or net new websites.
  • Creating captivating and engaging client presentations and workshops, including facilitating internal and external sessions.
  • Partner with content creators to ensure work falls in line with the content strategy: on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Serve as a UX Writer / Content Designer on projects as needed, creating engaging and conversational web content for branded and unbranded websites.
  • Configure and manage content inventories and audits.
  • Create content templates, outlines, and summaries incorporating metadata.
  • Edit copy from copywriters to ensure it falls in line with the content strategy.
  • Liaise with UX designers on crafting wireframes and content models (skeletons) using Figma, XD, or Sketch real-time and offline via annotations.
  • Optimize content for search engines, accessibility, voice search, and mobile experiences.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative content analysis on current sites, both owned and competitors.

Preferred Qualifications

But you’ve never just given the minimum in life, right? Ideally you have experience:

  • Creating navigational models and website taxonomies for large, Enterprise clients
  • Working within a modular and component-based framework or content management system
  • Partnering with Search and Analytics teams to make data-driven optimization recommendations
  • Researching, analyzing, and integrating keywords into copy and strategies
  • Proposing content balance recommendations for both formats and content types

NYC Salary range: $85,000 - $110,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
