General Information:

The Talent Acquisition Intern at Hitachi Energy will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent sourcing, recruitment process improvement, and data analytics. This role is ideal for an upcoming senior, or master's student seeking practical experience in human resources, recruitment, or related fields.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in sourcing top-tier talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking platforms.
  • Support the recruitment process from initial candidate screening to offer management, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to understand talent needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of process improvements to streamline recruitment workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to track recruitment metrics, identify trends, and generate insights for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the coordination of recruitment events, including career fairs, campus presentations, and networking sessions.
  • Provide administrative support as needed, including scheduling interviews, updating candidate records, and preparing recruitment-related documentation.

Your Background:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program with a focus on human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition, recruitment, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
