The professional Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of skilled, high quality patient care; for assisting in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing practice in accordance with the Mission of Doctors Hospital and Critical Care Services.
Our vision at Doctors Hospital of Manteca (DHM) is “to be the premiere hospital, engaging all to join our passion for excellence.” Our 73-bed facility offers a full range of medical services, as well as specialized treatment in elder care, women’s healthcare, imaging services, wound care, bariatric and orthopedic surgeries. We want everyone with a DHM badge to actively help us achieve the best in all we do. This begins with providing safe, high-quality and a remarkable service experience to our patients. We’re absolutely committed to patient safety, quality and service and each of us has a role in upholding that commitment, whether providing patient care directly, or working in a support department. We are very proud that our commitment is evidenced by the clinical recognition we have received including by The Leapfrog Group for hospital safety, by being a “Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE)” hospital, by being a designated Breast Health Center of Excellence and for recognition by the American Heart Association for our “Get With The Guidelines” performance for Heart Failure. These are great achievements that validate the expertise of our staff and physicians. As part of our commitment to patient safety, service and quality, we have a culture that celebrates our successes and cherishes our most valuable asset: Our people.
Our support for employees begins with rewarding and recognizing team members for a job well done, but extends much further. For example, we’re committed to promoting a preferred work environment and our leadership team rounds daily during the week to not only hear what opportunities we have to do better, but also to hear what actions we can collectively take to improve.
We’ve been in our community for more than 50 years and are proud to say that each day our employees have the opportunity to go home knowing they’ve made a difference – whether for themselves, for a neighbor in need, for a patient, a patient’s family, or the community we serve.
