Job Description

In the Budapest Artificial Intelligence Development Center of Continental Autonomous Mobility we create next generation automotive software solutions which make automated driving safe and affordable. We work towards Vision Zero, a goal to eliminate fatal accidents happening every day on the world’s roads. We are looking for creative minds who are passionate to shape the future of automated driving by delivering world-class perception and fusion systems. Our teams develop software solutions for automated parking systems, processing various automotive sensor data and providing a robust, scalable output to driving function modules.

Your Tasks

  • Participate in project teams for development and application of surround view systems.
  • Development of visualization features with C++.
  • Development of software and tools for configuration and calibration.
  • Porting and optimizing of existing computer graphics functions and features.
  • Integration and application of computer graphics features.
  • Technical alignment with project team and customers.
  • Working in distributed agile development teams with state-of-the-art tools and development environments.
  • Contributing with own ideas to enhance the product.

Qualifications

  • University Degree or PhD in related field (e.g. computer science, software engineering) or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 4 years of specific experience in the field of ADAS systems or autonomous robots.
  • Advanced knowledge and practical experience in C++ and GTests.
  • Knowledge in computer graphics with OpenGL is an advantage.
  • Experience with image processing and parallel computing (OpenCL/OpenCV/CUDA) of advantage.
  • Solid background in camera systems and fisheye cameras.
  • Practical experiences in scalable architecture.
  • Experience and passion for agile working methods like Scrum or Kanban are beneficial.
  • Experience in embedded software development (V Model) and related tools.
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
