The managing editor manages the production editorial team, creating and monitoring book and span schedules across the three imprints within the company. The managing editor works independently to analyze manuscripts, to perform or direct editing as required, and to track and complete all editorial functions on projects. The managing editor ensures project deadlines are met, budgets are adhered to, fosters smooth and consistent communication across departments, and conformance to Sasquatch Books’ standards of quality while being flexible and highly organized.
