As Product Manager – Enterprise Data & Analytics you will help create, modernize, and evangelize enterprise data products and processes by leading a portfolio of projects and tools which will deliver efficiency and operational excellence to Omnicom Media Group’s senior financial and media leaders throughout the globe. As a technical product manager for enterprise data & analytics you will have a passion for data analysis and an understanding of the tools and methods for bringing disparate data sets together. The product manager will contribute to the requirements gathering and roadmap management under the direction of the Director of the group responsible for building out Omnicom Media Group’s WW enterprise data products. 

You will be a savvy data enthusiast able to work across functional teams including HR, Finance, Investment, and IT stakeholders from operational teams to the most senior executives within the company. You will oversee development of solutions that span a team of QA analysts, visualization developers, and data engineers. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience collecting requirements and prototyping solutions in data & analytics tools such as PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, being able to write intermediate level SQL scripts to analyze, join, and interpret data sets from a variety of SQL compliant databases.
  • Experience working in a quick paced environment and balancing the need for strong data governance while delivering on executive requests in a timely manner.
  • 5 years' experience developing data products and visualizations through hands on analysis of business needs, data requirements, and data modeling.
  • Background working with data engineering and data modeling teams with a strong understanding of the importance of data governance principals.
  • Experience working with Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx or similar tools
  • Highly skilled at conceptualizing information using diagrams and models. Effective conceptualization, pattern recognition and design thinking skills.
  • Understanding of meta-models, taxonomies, and ontologies, as well as of the challenges of applying structured techniques (data modeling) to less-structured sources.

Responsibilities

What you'll do & create:

  • Ideate, Manage, and create executive and operational dashboards which will drive efficiency and decision making at the most senior level of the organization.
  • Leverage Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx and other tools to align and transform how Omnicom Media Group leverages data and turns it into actional insights.
  • Provide data analysis to new and existing data sets looking to uncover recommendations in the visualization of the data.
  • Implement an operating and support model for enterprise data products enabling the management of data for many domains which do not have an enterprise system of record.
  • Offer business process solutions and recommendations to improve the way in which we manage our enterprise data.
  • Stakeholder engagement and product management framework to ensure enterprise data products meet business requirements.
  • Lead evangelist and influencer for all things 'Enterprise Data' for the WW team at OMG by establishing strong business and technology relationships throughout the company.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $140,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
