Your Impact 

We are looking for a talented and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our software products through a combination of automated and manual testing processes. The position should possess good technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with the development and QA team to identify, analyze, and rectify defects, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the following areas:

  • Quality assurance and product stability: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by implementing and maintaining robust automated testing scripts and frameworks. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing
  • Test scalability and reliability: Create automated test scripts for Micro-services testing, API testing and UI testing, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our platform in dynamic and complex environments
  • Efficiency and time savings: Contribute to the automation of repetitive and time-consuming manual testing tasks. Accelerate the release cycle by integrating automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines

What You’ll Do

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Hybrid (2 working days at the office)

Reports to: QA Engineering Manager

Direct Reports:

  • You will play the role of QA platform to research, implement, and build-up solid testing script and framework to speedup the testing, tackle automation technical problems, increase quality for products and services
  • You will be responsible for writing test cases and executing test cases to validate software functionality, user experience, and system performance
  • Collaborate with engineering team and managers for quality commitment and identify the areas where efficiencies can be increased
  • You will be supported and mentored by QA experts for automation testing solutions and implementation
  • Focus on responsibility: Build-up solid testing scripts and frameworks, take full responsibility on it
  • Focus on integration: Deliver automated scripts and core frameworks that can be easy to integrate with CI/CD process and cloud platforms

What You Bring

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in software testing across a wide variety of applications and infrastructure components, QA processes, test management, and automated testing tools
  • Good at programming skills and flexibility with a variety of automation frameworks
  • Good at build-up automated test scripts and frameworks
  • Good at micro-services testing and back-end integrations
  • Clean code and well-defined documentation
  • Good at English/Vietnamese to collaborate and communicate with colleagues in US/VN

Preferred Qualification:

  • Strong understanding of software QA mindset and development methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
  • Good at automation using a variety of tools, such as Playwright (preferred), Cypress, Gatling, Selenium, K6 etc.
  • Good at programming language (one at least), such as Javascript/Typescript (preferred), Java, Scala, or Python
  • Experience with cloud testing platforms, such as Checkly, Saucelabs, Testkube
  • Experience with Linux/Mac/Window operating system
  • Experience with API testing, such as REST, SOAP, gRPC, Websocket protocols
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipeline, such as Teamcity, Jenkins
  • Proactive and ability to work independently or teamwork
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
