ZeroFox seeks seeks a (Sr.) Manager - Human Resources located in Bangalore.

The (Sr.) Manager - Human Resources is responsible for overall management and development of all HR aspects for a specific location, including but not limited to: Talent Management, management of the HR department, writing and delivery of HR strategy, company policy and procedure, compensation and benefits positioning, employee relations & engagement, learning and development and HR statutory compliance.

The function of the (Sr.) Manager, Human Resources role is to guide and manage India Human Resources department. The role will cover all aspects of HR, while specifically focusing on developing a talent management program. This role originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented high performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, goal attainment and empowerment. The role will be responsible for all aspects of HR for the company working closely with cross functional colleagues to ensure all HR duties are undertaken in accordance with employment law, company policy and ensuring any risk to the business is minimized.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, and working collaboratively with the Senior Director of Human Resources, the role requires a versatile, diverse and experienced HR leader who has a proven successful record of leading and delivering all aspects of HR with dedication and passion, whilst keeping abreast with changes in employment legislation.

Role and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement company HR initiatives. Align HR strategy to business objectives and company-wide HR initiatives.
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment.
  • Partner with managers to advise on all people-, performance-, compliance-, HR policy- and leadership-related matters.
  • Develop compensation, R&R and benefits plans.
  • Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process.
  • Discuss employees’ career development paths with managers.
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates and cost-per-hire).
  • Organize learning and development programs.
  • Ensure that the HR team addresses employees’ requests and grievances in a timely manner.
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations.
  • Be responsible for all HR management and development (including policy/practices, discipline, grievance, mentoring, salary and conditions, employment contracts, training and development, talent management, succession planning, driving performance appraisals and any other HR related issues). 
  • Regularly review the company's talent management processes within the business areas, including performance/potential management, resource planning and succession planning. 
  • Where necessary, work in partnership on projects to aid continuous improvement and implement improvement programs.
  • Manage and develop a small HR team to ensure quality services and advice are provided. 
  • Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales 
  • Update the company HR tool with timely, relevant forms, policies and procedures to ensure accessibility for employees at all times. 
  • Highlight and help resolve any issues/challenges/employee relations within the office. 

Required qualifications and skills

  • Experience performing the duties outlined above in a similar role, typically obtained in 7+ years. Candidates with previous experience working at a cybersecurity company will be given priority consideration.
  • Subject matter expertise in resolving complex employee relations matters.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, G Suite or related software.

Desired qualifications and skills

  • MBA in HR or equivalent is desired
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential will be an added advantage
