The Sr. Director, US/Global Oncology Marketing, is a member of the Oncology Business Unit with accountability for working closely with the Executive Director on all aspects of commercialization and promotions of LIBTAYO in NSCLC within the US. Also responsible for collaborating within the International team for Global commercialization and promotion.

This position will report directly into the Executive Director, Global/US HCP LIBTAYO Marketing. The Sr. Director of Global/US LIBTAYO HCP Oncology will work collaboratively across the LIBTAYO Franchise Team, International teams, internal cross-functional colleagues, and external agency partners to ensure alignment and to drive optimal integration and execution of personal and non-personal initiatives.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

  • Lead LIBTAYO HCP marketing for the NSCLC indication in the US. This includes defining US market opportunities, analyzing the competitive landscape, identifying key site of care and key account segmentation and needs, developing customer-focused and differentiated product and indication positioning, and customizing messages to key target audiences.
  • Work in partnership with the International team develop the Global commercialization plan and promotional resources.
  • Works in close collaboration with Clinical, Medical Affairs and Field Medical to ensure alignment with Medical Education strategic plans
  • Develops professional relationships and contacts with physician experts and attends key congresses
  • Work closely with the Insights and Data Analytics team to design and implement promotional strategies, while tracking brand performance, share of voice, market dynamics and competitive actions & response. Provide business assumptions input to forecasting.
  • Oversees the optimization and implementation of the multi-channel marketing mix, including omni-channel digital & media strategy and implementation, remote / tele-detailing, and creation and deployment of educational resources towards brand objectives and for high-impact engagements with all key target audiences.
  • Inform the strategic business plan, identify and prioritize business opportunities.

  • Manages and develops a team of direct reports, ensuring their continued development and growth.
  • Works cross functionally to create, manage and track budget to ensure operating within the approved budget and phasing
  • Responsible for the development of the Field Plan of Action and training plan, national/regional sales meeting execution and Field communications in collaboration with internal and external partners/stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with cross functional areas and internal strategic partners (i.e., Field Sales, Training, Promotional Review Committee, Medical, Regulatory, Clinical, Legal, Compliance, Market Access etc.)

To be considered for this role you should have a Bachelor's Degree. Experience in leading and developing long range brand plans, budgets and forecasts for commercial teams in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Prior personal, digital and omnichannel marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Working understanding of media planning and buying. Strong analytical skills for ease of tracking and communicating metrics. Ability to communicate HCP engagement levels and overall project results to management and cross-functional partners. Preferred- Solid understanding of oncology provider treatment environment and economics across academic and community hospitals and clinics, buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, group purchasing organizations, IDNs, PHS hospitals, hospital and system pharmacy, and payers. Preferred- Prior pharmaceutical sales experience. People management experience a plus. Must be willing to travel 25-30% (including weekend travel as needed).

Salary Range (annually)

$208,700.00 - $347,800.00
