Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

  • Coordinate E2E distribution center operations for all channels in Jordan.
  • Coordinate E2E distribution center operations for Ecom in Egypt.
  • Support coordinating distribution center operations for all channels in Egypt.
  • Ensure Capacities of various activities are created to support the business.
  • Create visibility through dashboards to support Manager and Department head in decision making.
  • Lead the direct-to-consumer Own the Game strategy for adidas SCM.
  • Lead the ecommerce implementation and other transformation projects in SCM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the day-to-day DC Operations activities: inbound, pick and pack, documentation, dispatches.
  • Close follow up and monitoring 3PL activities and raising flags to avoid any delays and/or complaints.
  • Manage the L0 and L1 costs for the DC, timely complete all the financial processes as per adidas submission calendars.
  • Daily, Weekly & Monthly Operational Reviews (DOR-WOR-MOR)
  • Seek continuous improvements in terms of utilization, frequency and lead times
  • Standard Operating Procedure to be constantly monitored, improved and executed
  • Plan and coordinate Reverse Logistics tasks: Returns to DC / store-to-store transfers
  • Drive cost reductions and quality improvements initiatives
  • Ensure Health, Safety and Environment standards are met as per adidas Group policies
  • Maintaining, monitoring and reporting KPI’s to senior management
  • Problem solving, solutions and process management
  • Monitor and report monthly actual costs / volumes compared to budget
  • Support SCM management with ad-hoc Projects and other DC activities

  • Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills
  • Ability to challenge the status-quo
  • Excellent communication skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree Level Qualification in Economics, Engineering or similar
  • Master/Post-degree certifications in Supply Chain management and/or Project Management are preferred
  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Project management, Retail Operations
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, ERP/SAP, WMS
  • Excellent skills in communication, presentation and negotiation skills
