As a Staff Software Engineer, you will act as a technical leader and will - drive the Design, development of clinical applications and features on C++, embedded Linux for Anesthesia and Respiratory medical devices; design Software Platform components with scalable architecture; engage with internal SMEs/Architects and get things done with help of Scrum teams by defining the backlogs, assigning, regular support and review and finally through acceptance of deliverables.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

In this role you will-

• Design and development of medical application and end-end feature development, ensuring platforming and re-usability
• Technical risk retirement and performance optimization on embedded platforms
• Guide and drive the internal/external team members and facilitate on time and quality deliverables
• Collaborate with scrum teams and ensure regular program planning and flow it down to PI and Sprint levels
• Drive project planning, scope changes and other nonstandard events throughout the life of the project
• Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting
• Demonstrate superior knowledge of software development life cycles
• Ensure that releases meet quality standards and functional requirements
• Work with fellow team members and provide subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after the project is deployed in production
• Manage external vendors on project assignments as required

Qualifications:

• UG or PG degree in Bachelor of Engineering Experienced
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software product development with exposure to cross-platform software and Agile SW development methodologies.

Skillsets

• Strong Hands on expertise in C, C++ on Linux OS, embedded platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge with Design patterns to draft scalable software design solutions.
• Knowledge on cross-platform software development is added advantage.
• Sound leadership and communication skills to enable working with team above & across.
