The starting pay for this position is $17.00/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift.

This facility operates five days a week with potential for overtime and produces Tacos and Tortillas.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sanitarian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the plant in accordance with the Master Cleaning Schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain cleanliness of plant in accordance with Master Cleaning Schedule per SSOP’s
• Must complete all required cleaning logs
• Work with various chemicals / cleaning agents in a safe manner following all applicable safety guidelines and procedures.
• Be able to use high pressure water hose and high-pressure air wand in cleaning
• Must be able to work every Sunday and occasional holidays.
• Must be able to work a variable schedule and be able to work up to 12 hours in one shift
• Communicate with various departments on a regular basis
• Must be willing to work outside on occasion
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
• Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to successfully complete scissor lift training
• Must complete Fall Protection Training and adhere to all procedures
• Ability to flex/grip with wrists/hands
• Walking, bending, squatting, standing and lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis
• Must be able to tolerate heights up to 70 feet off of the ground on occasion
• Must be able to move heavy objects with a mechanical device
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision

In order to be eligible for consideration you must be available to work overtime and weekends.
