In 2018, Nestlé and Starbucks created the Global Coffee Alliance in which Starbucks has granted Nestlé exclusive licensing rights for the At Home Coffee business and will leverage Nestle’s global footprint to bring Starbucks coffee to homes around the world. 

In this role you will represent Starbucks brand in our base portions business, near-in innovation and marketing in partnership with Nestlé. You will ensure that the products, packaging and marketing (down the aisle and out of store) elevate our brand and deliver against operating plans to achieve financial and business objectives. 

As a brand manager I, you will:

  • Be an owner of your platforms to advise on and develop strategies to meet our current and future goals, by analyzing sales and consumer data
  • Challenge category-level thinking and strategies to influence future plans within and outside of Nestlé
  • Assist in reporting our consumption and financial reports on a monthly basis to our leadership
  • Be the Starbucks Brand Steward to elevate and influence all marketing across portions platforms
  • Ensure out-of-store marketing elevates the brand and achieves in market KPIs
  • Manage packaging changes and updates to encourage a cohesive global brand perspective
  • Guide and manage short-term innovation strategy and pipeline (<18 months) for portions platforms, including seasonal offerings to drive business results
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources to align and deliver on brand initiatives across multiple workstreams to drive efficiency and brand cohesion
  • Develop interpersonal skills that facilitate a strong relationship with internal and external partners
  • Enjoy working with a collaborative, dynamic, and results-driven team

We’d love to hear from people with: 

  • Progressive experience in product or brand management, 5-7 years
  • Project leadership in a cross-functional environment, 5-7 years
  • Progressive experience leading the development and implementation of new or existing products and category strategies
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to leverage data and insights to inform actions that will develop a brand
  • Able to work in a matrix environment and to collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadline
  • CPG experience preferred
  • MBA preferred
