Zulily is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager, Brand Campaigns to join the Brand Marketing team to drive the strategy and execution of Zulily’s customer facing brand marketing campaigns. This candidate will own the marketing support for our Zulily category Shop launches, new customer education/retention, Qurate Retail Group partnership campaigns and help execute sponsorship campaigns as needed. This lead will work directly with cross-functional channel teams, including Insights, Creative, Media, PR, Merch, and Social to execute integrated programs that deliver against the company’s business objectives and deliver value to our moms.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail (apparel, housewares, toys & games), expertise managing marketing campaigns for leading brands, launches and a familiarity with the creative development of holistic marketing campaigns including social media, PR, email, affiliate, text, and packaging. This marketing manager will also help analyze effectiveness, with an eye toward continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

  • Lead development of integrated marketing plans for Brand campaigns, working in close partnership with internal cross-functional teams on mid and lower funnel brand campaigns
  • Author and deliver strategic campaign briefs grounded in insights and incorporating input from relevant teams – in partnership with Group Marketing Manager, Brand Strategy
  • Collaborate with internal Creative team daily as they translate strategy into consumer-facing assets
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on creative and campaign assets to ensure cohesive, consistent messaging and creative in alignment with the strategic vision and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Think with a customer-first mindset. Become an expert on the Zulily brand, products, core Mom audience, and our current Members
  • Help identify strategic initiatives based on customer insights, aligning with key business objectives.
  • Provide proactive recommendations to stakeholders for problem resolution and/or escalation.
  • Guide projects that support Zulily brand building and brand education throughout the company.
  • Research and report category trends, insights and innovations forecasted in retail, fashion and ecommerce.
  • Manage budget and timelines, ensuring all milestones are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in a marketing role either at an advertising agency or on the client side.
  • Experience translating rich consumer insights into actionable and compelling marketing tactics
  • Experience leading meetings and brainstorms to foster collaborative environment
  • Experience working in retail or a consumer lifestyle brand preferred.
  • Excellent organization, presentation and writing skills.
  • Experience and eagerness to leverage data to make decisions. Ability to identify and interpret patterns from a blend of qualitative and quantitative data points.
  • Excellent communicator, attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability work in ambiguous situations and to problem solve.
  • Project management skills to manage and prioritize multiple high-profile projects at once
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment where the ability to influence and build relationships is critical.
  • Positive outlook, curious, desire to learn and grow and team player.
