Experiential Marketing and Promotions Coordinator

The Experiential Marketing Coordinator should have a passion for delivering unique experiences for sponsors and consumers through integrated marketing and event execution. This person will oversee the development and execution of a portfolio of consumer, business and internal events. These events are designed to create opportunities to engage with our brands and sponsors.

This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a keen eye for detail. A successful candidate is a creative problem solver who can plan and execute experiential activations that achieve results for sponsors and memorable experiences for consumers while maintaining a strict budget that drives profitability.

Responsibilities 

  • Development of new experiential marketing concepts and manage the planning and execution of existing events.
  • Manage event production including P&L reporting, invoice processing, vendor setup, detailed budget tracking, production schedules, permits, venue and talent booking, ticketing, and sponsor activation planning.
  • Work closely with regional director and graphic designers on the production of creative elements required for consumer marketing and sales (B2B) campaigns.
  • Inspire sponsor sales through creative packaging of media assets and event activations.
  • Events are in both Lincoln and Omaha markets. Travel to Omaha is required.
  • Oversee and manage marketing content production and display on various digital and print publications.

Skills and Experience

  • A self-starter that enjoys a fast-paced environment while prioritizing multiple projects.
  • Creative problem solver that remains calm under pressure.
  • Proven success developing experiences based on marketing strategy and program objectives.
  • Experience with cross-functional projects and communication plans.
  • Examples of successfully working with a team on creative, content and technical requirements to ensure a smoothly run event that drives awareness and engagement.
  • Media sales planning including sponsor asset packaging and presentation development.
  • Proficient at communications with management, vendors, sponsors and consumers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience working on event planning and logistics management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed for events that may occur outside of regular business hours.
  • Strong technical skills to set up ticketing, digital promotion and support virtual event platforms.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
