The Chief Operating Office (COO) is the control room for Bankwest, delivering consistency in customer service, operations, delivery, strategy and risk. The Learning team sits within the Chief Operating Office and forms part of Bankwest Operations that seeks to empower brilliant customer experiences across all its stakeholders.

The Learning team is responsible for supporting all aspects of leadership and capability across BW. In delivering this, the team partners with CBA counterparts in order to achieve common where possible, custom where it counts.

Do work that matters

As a key member of the Bankwest team, your role will require you to:

• Partner with key stakeholders to develop a well-researched Leadership, Talent, Capability or D&I strategy that includes tangible measurable outcomes.
• Understand your role and team’s risk and controls profile, responsibilities and apply non-financial risk management practices through effective oversight, governance and controls to identify and mitigate non-financial risk.
• Apply structured delivery frameworks and change management processes and tools to create highly impactful, timely initiatives.
• Lead your team with a focus on strong engagement, risk acuity and development of capabilities and skills.
• Be an active and contributing team member especially in regards to embedding the CommBank / Bankwest strategy to become a simpler, better bank for our customers.
