Job Description

Re:Sources is seeking an attorney to manage and lead Epsilon Data Management, LLC’s compliance program around preventing consumer data from being provided or sold to entities or persons engaged in fraudulent or deceptive marketing. The individual filling this role will ensure that Epsilon’s program is successfully positioned to identify, prevent and mitigate risk, and to achieve and sustain consistently high and measurable levels of compliance. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist in developing and implementing Epsilon’s Know Your Client (KYC) and Creative Review (CR) compliance program across Epsilon lines of business, as appropriate, including enhancement and automation projects to support the program.
  • Supervise and oversee attorney and paralegal supporting KYC and CR programs in Epsilon’s data business;
  • Provide day-to-day and ad hoc compliance guidance to departments across the company
  • Assist in drafting and updating guidelines, policies, and procedures. as needed.
  • Work with outside professionals and internal audit to ensure appropriate processes and controls are in place.
  • Work cross-functionally within Epsilon to identify potential areas of compliance risk, develop and implement mitigation plans for resolving relevant issues, provide guidance on how to avoid or handle similar situations in the future, implementing processes and systems, as appropriate.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, responsibility, awareness, and transparency.
  • Monitor the regulatory environment for emerging trends and assist stakeholders in assessing any impact to Epsilon; advise on potential risks.
  • Develop or update as needed, coordinate and oversee educational and training programs; conduct periodic risk assessments to ensure that Epsilon employees are knowledgeable of, and compliant with, Epsilon’s compliance program, policies and procedures and pertinent laws, rules and regulations.
  • Maintain records of Epsilon’s compliance activities; coordinating proper reporting channels and policies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor required.
  • At least 5-7 years of compliance experience.
  • Experience in data-driven advertising and marketing is highly desirable.
  • Ability to foster a culture of integrity and transparency.
