What You Will Learn:

Campaign Creation & Management

  • Develop strategic content that aligns with organizational goals to guide prospects across each stage of the conversion funnel.
  • Work closely with Content Director to develop pre-shoot briefs for internal team and manage process from conception through post-production, including the creation of inspirational mood boards and storyboards.
  • Assist on set of all brand shoots – both video and photo with duties including prop + production assistance, wardrobe, casting + BTS captures.
  • Maintain emerging and current content channels like Giphy, etc
  • Manage asset organization for internal and external distribution

Social-First Content Creation

  • Lead and collaborate with social team on lo-fi/social content strategy and capture on all shoots, including gif capture
  • Identify social trends and insights that resonate with the Gen-Z audience on a monthly basis
  • Regularly track and measure keyword research to guide content strategy
  • Utilize Netbase for trends tracking to inform larger Marketing team of opportunities to create nimble social content based on rising and declining trends in products, ingredients, etc.

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Marketing/Advertising/Communications, Graphic Design, Film or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in the US on a fulltime, permanent, and ongoing basis without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Self-starter with excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Experience in managing digital content as well as production of content with agencies and/or internal creative Departments
  • Background and interest in HAIR, multicultural beauty, fashion and/or lifestyle brands
  • Love for photography and creating video content. Experience in video editing skills, with the motivation to continue to learn and excel at visual content creation are key to this role. Graphic Design and Photoshop skills are a plus.
  • Experience producing visual content for website, email campaigns and social media are a plus
