Job Description:

The Data Analyst, as part of the GTM Analytics and Insights team, will work with the broader Sales and the Sales Operations organization to inform business decision-making at a regional level to maximize revenue growth and overall business success. The role will require working with large data sets through the use of analytical tools and systems. Using data, the analyst is expected to collaborate with teammates, form intelligent opinions, and present your thoughts to decision-makers. Success in this role will require a strong understanding of Zoom’s business and its growth levers. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop a deep understanding of Zoom’s regional businesses from its data/metrics to its operational challenges and opportunities
• Support business performance deep-dives to identify key trends and opportunities for maximizing revenue growth
• Work with Big Data, perform data transformation, and help to build complex financial or operating models for historical analysis and forecasting
• Create executive-level reporting from data, translate what the data says to actionable insights, and communicate findings both verbally and in writing
• Provide ad-hoc data reporting and analysis requested within Sales Operations or by other cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced environment, particularly in data analysis and data management
• Ability to work both independently and with a team. Comfortable with reporting to global managers (not in the same office)
• Experience and familiarity with SaaS Enterprise systems and SaaS business operations 
• Ability to deliver actionable insights by synthesizing data into useful structure, and influence through logic, interpretation of data and effective communication
• Technical skills are highly valued, including proficiency in Excel (Google Sheets), SQL, Tableau, Alteryx (plus), other Business Intelligence tools
• Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success

This role may require the candidate to work with a global team. Zoom has offices in Europe, North America, and Asia.
