Asana is building a world-class Sales Compensation team to help achieve our operational and financial goals while embodying our Asana values. The Sales Compensation Analyst will be responsible for continuing to lay the foundation for a growing company with a significant vision for how to change the world. This role makes an impact by supporting revenue generation, reporting, and customer satisfaction within a company.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements. 

What you’ll achieve

  • Own, develop, and improve on the sales credited reporting process that influences business performance. Work closely with cross-functional partners to identify, troubleshoot, and reconcile any potential issues. 
  • Implement and evolve processes to scale best practices with the intent of supporting company-wide growth for Asana’s sales team.
  • Prepare and maintain internal controls around revenue retention and continuously improve business processes, systems, and documentation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the revenue crediting process and the cross-functional impact across multiple systems (ie. Zuora, Salesforce, Xactly)
  • Perform Ad Hoc projects & requests as needed

About you

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in sales compensation, sales operations, and/or sales finance.
  • A degree in finance, accounting, engineering, mathematics, economics, or a related quantitative field or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong aptitude and proficiency in Excel; Tableau and SQL Experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal
  • Process-Oriented with experience in building and improving processes
  • Experience working with Salesforce CRM required
  • Experience working with Xactly; other SaaS experience (ie. Workday, Anaplan) a plus
  • Strong customer satisfaction skills, ability to drive initiatives and projects with management.

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $133,000 - $169,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
