About the Role

Uber is looking for a Senior Compensation Analyst, M&A to join our Executive Compensation team. Our success brings us unique challenges - join us as we build innovative and creative solutions! You'll serve as a key member of the Executive Compensation team and interact regularly with the M&A team and broader People teams.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic compensation professional with knowledge of the M&A cycle, has executive compensation experience, and a knack for getting things done. We'll need you to have hands-on experience, as well as a mix of entrepreneurial and large, high-growth company experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a very fast-paced, constantly changing environment, with the ability to quickly shift and reprioritize.

What You'll Do

  • Global Compensation Analyst in M&A projects including pre-close due diligence and post-close integrations
  • Help Administers company executive compensation programs, including executive salary surveys, annual and long-term incentive programs
  • Coordinate with broad-based Compensation partners on plan design changes, new programs
  • May help develop and prepare materials for the Compensation Committee meetings
  • Assist in on special projects as they arise

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of total professional experience
  • Minimum of 3+ years of executive compensation experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of executive compensation experience preferably with a large corporate employer or leading consulting firm
  • M&A experience preferably from a Compensation/HR perspective
  • Exceptional quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details
  • Basic understanding of financial and accounting statements and familiarity with the laws and regulations related to Executive Compensation
  • Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
  • Business-oriented mindset while being creative and critical thinker
  • Strong aptitude for research, analysis and data management
  • Ability to understand and relate to multiple stakeholders from various disciplines (e.g., legal, corporate development, finance)
  • Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills
  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple assignments
