The Opportunity

For Home Proprietary Brands, support the process of ensuring products are developed for QxH markets and meet all Product Quality and Regulatory standards. Partner with the Merchandising Product development team to translate desired product attributes and features into product specifications and QA requirements. Review and document product specifications, packaging, coordination and monitoring of sample flow, complete and accurate documentation of review findings and reporting of results.

For proprietary products, support developing technical specifications including instructions manual, labeling, branding and Regulatory requirements (as needed). Monitor and drive product performance metrics. Work with sourcing team, Agents and Asia QA team members on QA and Product Development.

Your Impact

  • Contribute in development of Technical and Quality Product Specifications after collecting Merchandising inputs.
  • Create Instruction Manuals, labeling and market documentation for factories to ensure they meet all requirements.
  • Address factories, agents and sourcing team questions about product, packaging and other development questions based on Qurate requirements.
  • Review Product at various stages against the created product specs, review packaging and conduct packaging testing, verify product safety and conduct product long term testing.
  • Issue final Product Approvals in QxH systems to release product for inspection. Work with inspection team to ensure products are inspected and are meeting Qurate inspection requirements.
  • Work with vendor to resolve any product quality issues identified during PSFGA inspections.
  • Setup products in B2B and Quest Systems using product specifications.
  • Review product claims and guide factory on required documentation for claims approval.
  • Monitor products through the cycle ensuring factory is on track with producing samples, documentation and testing.
  • Address issues related to the product quality at any point of the life cycle. Communicate the issues to factory in timely manner and work with them to come up with solutions.
  • Analyze vendor and factory performance and provide feedback to them to improve vendor and product quality.

What You Bring

  • Proven Experience in a similar quality assurance role in retail sector.
  • B.S degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree is desirable but not required. With B.S degree minimum 1-year experience is required.
