This role is a Silicon Architect for next-generation Networking ASICs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the process of technical exploration of future product direction. Provide thought leadership and technical decisions, recommendations, or results that enhance the company’s ability to provide leading-edge technology applications. Solve problems that are complex in nature and often have wide-range company implications.
- Provide technical consultation throughout the company.
- Work toward strategic accomplishments often under vaguely defined objectives.
- Collaborate with systems and software teams to define architecture for next generation ASICs for networking applications
- Collaborate with physical design and logic design engineers to create chip and block level functional and micro-architecture specifications. Conduct trade-offs based on power/performance/area and cost.
- Participate in discussions with customers and account teams to pitch products and/or services, understand customer pain points, identify new leads and potential new markets
- Execute schedules with significant unknown variables.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in the area of High Performance Networking or Computing silicon architecture and implementation. Network Security expereince is a plus
- Bachelors or higher degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
