Job Description: Marketing Manager

Job Overview

As the Local Store Marketing Manager (LSM), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the local store marketing strategy and will develop and execute marketing plans at a local branch level to complement the Leafguard national marketing strategy. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for lead generation and brand building efforts. The ideal candidate would be someone with a blend of strategic, technical, creative, analytical and project management skills. This role will focus on driving the brand growth, enhancing customer engagement, and positioning the Leafguard brand as the best in class in the home improvement market.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop local marketing plans for Leafguard branches across the country supporting up to 10 branches.
  • Work hand-in-hand with branch General Managers to initiate customized local marketing efforts such as sponsorships, canvassing, print, and various community partnerships.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions, refine marketing strategies and optimize campaign performance to drive quality leads.
  • Prioritize budget allocation based on potential impact and track performance against goals.
  • Collaborate with national channel managers in TV, digital, print, and event marketing to develop plans to complement the Leafguard national strategy and meet or exceed individual location leads and revenue goals.
  • Travel to local branches to develop local and regional opportunities monthly.
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure effective community engagement activities maximize brand, growth, and customer and employee experience. Engage with various community leaders to enhance Leafguard brand awareness.
  • Assist with affiliate marketing to develop grass roots marketing campaigns.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and five years field marketing experience required.
  • Home improvement lead generation experience preferred.
  • Adept at analyzing multiple data points from distinct sources to formulate actionable insights and strategy.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exception follow-through and perseverance for attaining goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects with a strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing competencies.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity, building initiatives from the ground up, demonstrating resourcefulness and cross functional rallying behind a shared vision.
  • A curious mind with a strong interest in emerging marketing trends that deliver results for our local branches.
  • Proficiency in using various office software tools, including those for document management, specifically Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel 25% - approximately 1 week per month to our branches.
